Credits & Billing
XCROP uses a credit-based pricing model. Each API call consumes credits based on the endpoint type and the number of results returned. This gives you granular control over costs: you only pay for what you use.
Credit Rates
Credits are calculated per result returned. A minimum of 10 credits is charged per call, even if fewer results are returned.

Credit Calculation
Formula: max(10, resultCount × creditRate). Minimum 10 credits per call ensures fair resource allocation.

Monthly plan credits reset every 30 days, counted from your payment date. Monthly plans last 30 days and do not auto-renew; renewing early adds 30 days to your current expiry. Yearly plans (20% off twelve months) last 365 days and grant the whole year of credits at once. Free Starter credits (5,000) reset on the 1st of each calendar month. Unused credits do not roll over. When you upgrade, the new allowance takes effect immediately.

Batch requests to avoid the 10-credit minimum per call. Endpoints that return only a few results (or none) still cost 10 credits, so one call returning 100 results is cheaper than many small calls. Once a call returns 10+ billable results, cost scales with the result count.
